Day 211-Waiting is really a slow grind
Well it looks like couples are beginning to get their interviews with approval dates close to ours. I keep calling and emailing the state department to find out any hopeful status on our immigration paperwork. Yes watching grass grow is more entertaining. They still say 180 days on everything. So we pay our fees and that paperwork gets processed within seconds. Then wait for months for the immigration departement to do our paperwork. This is so backwards!!!! Since when do we go to have some service done and pay up first and then wait months to have the service done. For example you go to the shop to have your car tuned up. You drive up to the service and say when can I bring my car in for a tune up. Well sir first you have to pay us for the service and once your check clears we can start you tuneup in 180 days. Of course if you want the full tune-up it will be 999 days. So tell you what we can do. Go ahead and pay up for just the small tune up and then when that is done you can drive around until there is an opening for the full tune-up. So lets think about this. If the immigration got paid when we recieved the visa would that change that shorten the flow time?
