Day 643-We are working on our home

We have been lucky to get a home started. Ours is a quadrant home and we really love it so far. My wife Catheryn and daughter Julianna are going down to the showroom to check out the interior stuff. It is like designing your own place with the selections they have.

Day 640- My wife got her Social Security number

Yes my wife is amongst the tax payers now. We are hoping that she can work and make some money for herself. Next will be to obtain a drivers license and also be co-account holder in our marriage union. This way she can easily extend her green card to 10 year status. The immigration process still goes on.

Day 602 Catheryn's 2 year Green Card is here!!!

Well we finally recieved the 2 year temporary Permanent Residence Card. This card will expire in two years to make sure we are not a fake marriage. In other words the immigration office makes us reapply in order to find out that we have shared accounts, living together or having children etc. whatever their idea is of marriage as a permanent thing. Once we prove ourselves they will send the 10 year green card. So thanks to all the fake marriages we have to go through this additional bit of paperwork. Anyway the more trials we go through the stronger our relationship becomes. Our Julianna is another great little spirit in our family to bring us closer together also.

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS
Current Status: Approval notice sent.
On February 25, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.

Day 574-Our Baby's Birth on Feb 10th

My wife has many medications to control the lupus. So far everything is working and the baby is fine. The doctor is saying that she will be delivered on February 10th, 2007 two weeks earlier than her due date of February 24th. We are very excited about the birth and we have done everything the doctors asked us to do. We have been going to our NST's twice a week and visiting our Kidney, baby, rheumatology doctors almost every week. The baby's heartbeat and vital signs have been good. Anyway we have been extremely thankful for all of the help on our high risk pregancy so far.

Day 551- Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone. My wife is into her 32nd week of her pregnancy with little Julianna. We are so excited. We did have a few challanges though. My wife had a lupus flare-up and now is on the high risk pregnancy care. She is on a treatment that is working really well and the baby is fine. It started around two weeks ago when she complained of stiff and burning joints in her legs, back and elbows. She really began to swell in those areas as well. After a few days in the hospital we chatted with doctors that were specialist in kidneys, joints and hypertension to name a few. After the tests of every kind it was diagnosed as lupus. No one in my wife's family or relatives had the problem as far as they knew. Anyway we are dealing with this as she is going through her treatment. The baby may be born two weeks earlier as a precaution. My wife is stable and doing well. Our Christmas ended up the two of us at home thankful for our blessings. We are scheduled with many NSTs and other tests to make sure the medications are working. The picture is one of the scans of little Julianna on the 3d ultrasounds. She looks like she is sleeping on that one. However she is kicking and moving constantly lately.
