Day 214-Called the State Department

I asked for some help on getting information on a k3 visa status. This email information was sent to me as a response. Hi Michel,Yes, the letter informing you of the Manila Case No. does not contain the interview date. You would have to call the Dept. of State (DOS) in Washington DC tel. (202) 663-1225 ext. 100 for that. However, you would have to wait at least 4 months before the DOS can give you an interview date as the current waiting time at Manila Embassy is 180 days from the day the Embassy physically receives your case file. I called the number yesterday and they told me that our interview was on April 19th, 2006 and the letter for Catheryn's medical will be sent out on March 11th, 2006. This has been a great comfort for me because now we finally know the interview date for sure. I was very excited and got a little confused on the letter being sent already. So we need to wait til after March 11th to recieve that.
